In the field of spectroscopy in the mid-infrared wavelength range, the LHFT has a powerful tunable laser source available. In combination with sensitive and low-noise photodetectors, applications in the field of transmission spectroscopy in gases, but also spectroscopy in liquids using the technique of Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) are possible. Due to the availability of optical components for the mid-infrared range, even more complex structures are no problem.
