5G / 6G & Wireless Locating Laboratory

The LHFT investigates novel positioning systems based on electromagnetic waves. For this purpose, the 5G / 6G & Wireless locating laboratory provides a measurement environment equipped with an optical camera tracking system as position and orientation reference with a positioning accuracy in the sub-mm range. This enables a reliable evaluation of novel hardware and algorithm concepts. Furthermore, the LHFT works on future communication systems suitable for 5G and 6G. Therefore, the laboratory provides a demonstrator system for 5G and 6G experiments.
