Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Krieger with the DLR Oberpfaffenhofen is appointed as a professor for the professorship Cognitive Radar Systems at the institute of microwaves and photonics beginning with 1st of March 2019.

Due to his outstanding scientific achievements Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernhard Schmauss was nominated as fellow of the Max Planck School of Photonics in the time frame between 15.02.2019 until 14.02.2021 by the Max Planck School of Photonics. He is one of three funded fellows at the FAU.
