IEEE SENSORS Conference Best Paper Award for Ingrid Ullmann

Dr. Ingrid Ullmann received the best paper award at the IEEE SENSORS Conference 2023 in Vienna. Her contribution was entitled “Radar-Based Continuous Human Activity Recognition with Multi-Label Classification“ (authors: Ingrid Ullmann, Ronny Guendel, Nicolas Kruse, Francesco Fioranelli, Alexander Yarovoy). The paper is a collaboration with the “Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems” group at TU Delft (Netherlands). This cooperation originates from Dr. Ullmann’s research stay at TU Delft last year, which was funded by the CRC EmpkinS.

The IEEE SENSORS is one of the most renowned sensors conferences worldwide. It covers a large spectrum, from innovative sensor technologies to most recent advances in signal processing and attracts experts from all over the world. This year, more than 600 contributions were presented at the conference.
