At this year’s International Microwave Symposium (IMS), LHFT PhD students demonstrated their talents by securing three notable awards in the student design competitions.

In the Component-less Bias Tee competition, Tobias Kögel and Andre Scheder took first place! Well done!

The team, consisting of Andre Scheder, Patrick Fenske, Konstantin Root and Johanna Bräunig, showed their skills in the “Radar for contactless vital sign detection” competition and took a well-deserved second place.

Another impressive achievement was made by Tobias Bader and Felix Bachbauer, who took second place in the competition “mmWave 3D-printed Antenna Design”.

Congratulations to all award winners for their achievements and contributions! Their success is a testament to the enthusiasm and dedication of LHFT PhD students in the field of microwave engineering.
